1. Kevin Guyton
    player & official - 2001-2011

For over a decade CSA Sports has been the innovator in recreational sports and activities. No person was more instrumental in the culture shift than Kevin Guyton. Kevin is one of a handful of people that have been involved with CSA Sports in some fashion every year since 2001. Kevin was a player and official during the "Golden Era" from 2001-2004, when the dynamic of the social sports scene was evolving, Kevin was part of the transition that CSA led. He was directly involved in the creation and implementation of the unique rules and policies that make CSA's product singular and unique and was appointed as the CSA Commissioner of Leagues in 2006. Kevin held that volunteer position until the end of 2008.

As a player, Kevin is the only person that was a member of Team CSA from 2004 to 2009. He was the captain of Team CSA in the Wish for Wendy tournament in 2006 and the captain of Team CSA when we won the 2009 Spring/Summer Cobb County Co-ed Softball league.  Kevin participated with and captained teams in Softball, Bowling, and Volleyball. He was part of Cell Block CSA and since CSA implemented the roster tracking protocol (which he helped develop) Kevin is one of 56 players (out of 6,500) to participate in over 100 games.

Kevin's first season as an official with CSA Sports was the Summer of 2001 when he was both a softball umpire and a volleyball supervisor. During the next 10 plus years, Kevin officiated 1,141 games [2nd all-time] in every league and event.

Kevin was the 2004 winner of the "CSAer" award, and in 2007 was inducted in the CSA Hall of Fame for significant contributions to the program.

CSA Sports has had a unique influence on the culture of adult recreation since we began in 1998. CSA has evolved along the way and those culture shifts were not coincidental. It took years of study, analysis, and commitment to create a balance between social and competitive. Kevin was deeply embedded in maintaining that balance. Always willing to sacrifice for an organization he believed in, Kevin Guyton was invaluable with his contribution and thus was the most influential person in CSA Sports history.
